Common questions

How does collection work?
When you book, we send you a secure smart-lock PIN code and the address of our collection point. It's accessible 24/7 — drive up, enter your PIN, grab your games, and go. No appointment needed, no waiting around. Return the same way when your hire period ends.
How does pricing work?
The listed price is your Day 1 hire. Want them longer? Day 2 is just +$40 and Day 3 is +$30. So a full weekend with Backyard Fun is $79 + $40 + $30 = $149. The longer you hire, the better value it gets.
What's the security deposit?
A refundable hold is placed on your card at booking — just like a hotel. It's not charged, just reserved. Once you return everything in good condition and send us the return photo, the hold is released automatically within 7 business days. You're never charged unless items are damaged or missing.
What if it rains?
All our games can be used indoors — they're perfect for covered patios, garages, community halls, or anywhere with a flat surface. We don't offer refunds for weather, but we do recommend checking the forecast and having a backup indoor space ready. The Sunshine Coast rarely lets you down though.
What if something gets damaged or lost?
Normal wear and tear from standard play is expected — scuffs on wooden games are fine. If something is lost or damaged beyond normal use, we'll deduct the replacement cost from your security deposit. A full list of replacement costs is in our Terms & Conditions. Individual pieces (like a single Jenga block or bocce ball) are charged per piece, so you're not paying for a full set if you lose one item.
What if I return late?
Late returns incur a $100 per day fee, charged to your security deposit. We need the games back on time so the next customer can enjoy them too. If you think you'll need longer, add an extra day to your booking — it's cheaper than the late fee.
Will the games fit in my car?
Backyard Fun and Party Pleaser fit in any car boot or back seat. The Ultimate Event is larger — a ute, van, or large SUV is recommended. If you're adding the popcorn machine, you'll need a ute or van. Each game comes in a carry bag or crate for easy transport.
Do you deliver?
We're a self-collect service — it keeps costs down for you and means you can collect and return on your own schedule, 24/7. Our collection point is centrally located on the Sunshine Coast. If you need delivery for a large event, get in touch and we'll see what we can arrange.
